EDGEMONT – The third-seeded Edgemont Moguls girls’ basketball won two of three games last week versus Nebraska opponents to earn a second place finish in the annual Panhandle Athletic Conference (PAC) Tournament.

LEAD – The Hot Springs Bison wrestling team split a pair of Black Hills Conference duals last week in the Northern Hills, narrowly defeating Lead-Deadwood 40-39 but losing to Spearfish by a score of 21-54.

OELRICHS – The Oelrichs Tigers boys basketball team last week went 2-1 with home wins over both New Underwood and Crazy Horse, but a loss on the road to Rapid City Christian.

HOT SPRINGS – It was a good week for the Hot Springs Bison boys’ basketball team as they went undefeated to improve to 4-5 on the season, while also earning their second straight championship title of the West River Tournament, with wins over Edgemont, Wall and then Upton, Wyo., for the championship.

RAPID CITY – The Edgemont Lady Moguls earned a big win over Hot Springs last Tuesday night during the first round of the West River Tournament, but then fell in their next two games to place fourth overall as a team in the eight-team bracket.
